Events Staff Plans Big
New Lineup, New Era

As a result of the success and growth of events presented by the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation, we've brought aboard two talented people to launch new and restructured staff positions.

The events staff reorganization intensifies CBF's focus on marketing and sponsorship, beginning with three major events: The Healthy Streets Conference April 1 and 2, the CBF 20th Anniversary Gala Tribute to Randy Neufeld April 2, and the Fourth Annual Bike the Drive on May 29.

Cynthia

Cynthia Hodur is our new events production manager and Ethan Spotts is CBF's new director of events marketing. Former Events Coordinator Anne Davis has been made director of sponsorship.

Cynthia brings event management experience at the American Heart Association and the Intellectual Property Network, Ltd. " I envision making CBF's current events bigger and better every year and developing some new events to give folks more opportunities to celebrate bicycling."

Ethan with his mentor

Ethan was a volunteer on the CBF membership and marketing committee. His past experience includes the PR firm Edelman and the River Forest Whole Foods store.

" With so many groups, clubs and people inspired by bicycling, the opportunities for all of us to make a difference are tremendous," says Ethan.
