Dining Rides Explore Region

Chicagoland Bicycle Federation hosts three events that celebrate bicycling’s relationship to food and dining.

Veggie Bike and Dine (July 22) celebrates the ease of getting about on bicycles and bicycling’s connection to healthy eating, with the focus on vegan foods. The ride highlights local businesses and neighborhoods in Evanston and the North Side of Chicago. Veggie Bike and Cook (June 17) tours Chicago in a similar fashion and includes a vegan cooking class. On July 29, Progressive Bike and Dine explores vegan-friendly eateries in the near west suburbs by bike, beginning and ending in Brookfield. Register in advance for all three at www.biketraffic.org.
