Bicycle commuters invade Chicagoland streets

After endless months of gazing out onto slush and shivering on the platform, you are ready for it — getting to work by bike!

And we are just as ready as you are.

If you haven’t already, be sure to sign up your company for the Bicycle Commuter Challenge. This is your chance to share the fun and ease of biking with co-workers.

Challenge yourself and motivate your co-workers to bike the most trips to work during Bike to Work Week — June 7-13.

Check it out at www.biketraffic.org/commuterchallenge.

Sure, Bike to Work Week is fast approaching, but never fear — we will be there to lend a hand, or an air pump, at every turn.

Bicycle Commuter Stations — more than ever before — will be waiting for your smiling face. Stations reach across the region, from suburban Metra stations to the Lakefront Trail. Re-energize with complementary coffee and snacks or get a quick tune-up on your way to work.

This year, we welcome Southland residents to take advantage of the brand new Bicycle Commuter Stations at Homewood and Flossmoor Metra Stations. Plus, we have doubled the number of stations in DuPage County and in Chicago. Find a Bicycle Commuter Station near you.

We know — you want even more commuting after Bike to Work Week.
That’s why we have even more Bicycle Commuter Stations in the upcoming year. Be on the lookout!

But in the meantime, discover all things commuting at www.biketraffic.org/commute.
