Harmon Hundred raises funds for bicyling

More than 700 cyclists set out last month on the Wheeling Wheelman’s 37th annual Harmon Hundred, which featured several new routes. The Harmon Hundred offered something for everyone from Scout Troops securing their cycling badge to serious century riders. Proceeds from the ride helps the Wheeling Wheelmen, one of the Midwest’s largest clubs, continue to support bike advocacy. This includes substantial annual donations to the Chicago Bicycle Federation, League of Illinois Bicyclists, League of American Bicyclists, Wisconsin Bike Federation, Trips for Kids – Fox Valley Chapter and Thunderhead Alliance. The beautiful day was an example of how easy it is to get out and ride your bike on quiet country roads.
