Road Show highlights bicycling in Chicagoland

The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation is looking for volunteers interested in promoting membership, as well as our mission, by serving as a Road Show volunteer manager.

Our community outreach and membership promotion – which we call Road Show – needs committed volunteers familiar with our mission and the benefits of being a Chicagoland Bicycle Federation member. These managers would coordinate and lead teams of volunteers at various events throughout Chicagoland.

Important skills for serving in the role of volunteer manager for Road Show include basic knowledge of our mission, an ability to coordinate other volunteers and a general comfort level with speaking to the public, mostly on a one-to-one basis. Road Show has been at the Chicago Bike Show, Adventure Travel Expo, Pitchfork Music Festival and various suburban and city neighborhood festivals. Interested? Contact John Haley at johnh@biketraffic.org or 312-427-3325.
