Events director takes on future of successful ridse Christine Schwartzkopff joined the Chicagoland Bicycle
Federation as the new director of events in August 2007. Prior to
her position with the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation, she was the
facility and event supervisor at the
Winnetka Community House, a nonprofit recreational and event
venue.
Christine brings more than 13 years of event planning, nonprofit administration and recreational and cultural programming experience to the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation. As the director of events, Christine is responsible for events such as Bike the Drive and the Boulevard Lakefront Tour. Outside of work, she enjoys flea-marketing, theater, and of course, bicycling. As a recreational bicyclist, Christine is inspired by her co-workers’ and the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation volunteer community’s commitment and devotion to cycling.
