2008 shattered records for bicycle commuting in Chicagoland!

More than 3,500 bicycle commuters from nearly 300 organizations around the region competed to achieve the highest percentage of employees to bike to work during Bike to Work Week in June, a 30% climb from 2007.

The final stage of the Bicycle Commuter Challenge will be an awards luncheon, Aug. 8 at the Fairmont Hotel, to honor bicycle commuters and winning teams.

Organizations and companies are again raring up to compete in the annual Bicycle Commuter Challenge.

The Bicycle Commuter Challenge dares companies to earn the highest percentage of employees to use their bike for some or all of their commute during Bike to Work Week, June 7-13.

Make sure your company prevails by being a Team Leader. Team Leaders recruit team members, log their bicycle miles and offer tips for comfortable bike commuting.
